Flora Isabell Maskell

Mother of Edith Grace Johnston Lorenz. Born August 24, 1874 at Monitor, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Married Clark Runyon Johnston and had eight children, all born in Indiana. By 1920 the family lived in Carpenter, Jasper County, on South Street. After Clark died in 1928 she lived with her daughters Ethel and Nellie for her final years. Died Thursday February 27, 1958 at 11:30 PM at daughter Ethel Dlugak's home, age 83, of hardening of arteries. Buried Sunday March 2 at Remington Cemetery, with Vincent McGlenn officiating.
