Bill Lorenz's deepest confirmed ancestor is David William Sellars, born 1758. He would have been eighteen years old when the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 and of military age throughout the American Revolution. The Sellars line passes through Richard Sellars (1788-1860), Julia Virginia Sellars (1839-1906), Robert Edmund Lee Eason (1868-1917), Thomas Howell Eason Sr (1890-1954), Dorothy Mae Eason (1912-1994), and reaches Bill (b. 1949). Seven generations from David William to Bill.
